The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, fiends, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of heroes who will separate from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team access locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them few options but to travel to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can expect finding out which characters will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
